More Than Black

This original painting is part of a mini collection of two Crow-themed paintings. 
More Than Black focuses on drawing out all the colours and shades within the black bird- to the extent that the black bird is hardly black at all. I wanted to highlight the hidden beauty in an otherwise overlooked black bird- something perceived as “just black”.

Oil and acrylic on board, framed in a black floating frame and ready to hang. Measures 8x8”
